Can you count how many times a day you and anyone else in your household turn lights on and off? I can’t! Chances are you walk into your house, turn on the light THEN wash your hands after being out all day. Next time you clean your house, be sure to disinfect those switches!
We all are sure to keep our computer screens crystal clear so we can see but what about our keyboard? Or remote controls to the tv? What about the buttons on the stereo? Let’s not even get started on our phones! We handle these things throughout the day, most every day and things that are portable we bring with us in public where there’s even more germs! It’s easy to keep a mini Lysol bottle or a travel size of Clorox wipes in your car and/or purse!
I am a freak when it comes to our refrigerator. I clean it out at least once a week because we get our food from the grocery store where multiple people handle it and place it on shelves that I don’t think get cleaned as often as we would like to think! Take 30 minutes once a month at least to clean out your fridge and disinfect the shelves and drawers! (Don’t forget about the handles too!)
You sit on this thing nearly every day in clean clothes and in clothes you wore outside all day long. It’s important to not only vacuum under the cushions but also to clean the cushions! If you have easy removable cushion covers, throw those in the wash! (Make sure you read the cleaning directions before!) If it’s a nice leather couch, wipe it down with a leather safe cleaning disinfectant!
Just like light switches, this is something we handle daily! Spray or wipe down your door handles as often as you can!
