When you don’t have an easier way to keep your phone stable and where you can see it for the GPS, use a rubber band to secure it to your air vent.
Remember Where You Parked
It’s easy to forget where you parked especially if you’re in an unfamiliar place or a large parking garage. Take a photo of where you parked so you don’t get lost. I also like to take a photo/write down what level, if I’m near the stairs or elevator, and the address of the building in case I walk far away.
Use a Shoe Organizer for Storage
Cut up a shoe organizer and hang it over your back seats for easy to access storage. I keep two collapsible storage boxes in my trunk for bigger items!
Use a Cereal Container for a Trash Can
My mom always had a trash can in her car made out of something or another, using a cereal container is genius! Small and portable! (And this way your friends have NO excuse to leave trash out in your car!)
Open Key Ring with Staple Remover
I’ve broken more nails than I can count trying to pry open my keyring to add/remove keys. To avoid hurting yourself (and breaking a nail!) use a staple remover to hold it open.
Have Little Ones?
Keep them occupied and organized all at the same time by using suction cup shower organizers for the car windows!
Messy meals? Not anymore!
Use a plastic basket from the dollar store to keep food all in one place.
Keep Important Papers in One Place
How many times have you shuffled through your glove compartment trying to quickly locate your insurance? Get a small binder to keep all of those important documents together!
Guess what I’ll be organizing this weekend….?
Avoid Your Purse Spilling
Keep your purse from spilling open every time you turn or stop suddenly by tying a scarf around the handles and to the headrest.
Keep a First Aid Kit Handy
You never know when you’ll need extra water, band aids, pain relievers and more! Organize a kit ahead of time and keep it in your car at all times.
