People Magazine have been letting the public know who the hottest guys are since 1995.
A combination of looks, personality, and social consciousness factor into who don the cover. Usually, we are pretty much on board with their choices. However, 2017’s pick is raising a few eyebrows.
In early November, People announced that country singer Blake Shelton would the 2017 pick. Sure, he might give off those old-fashioned cowboy vibes, but many people of the Internet don’t consider Shelton’s supposed support for Trump and racist and homophobic tweets to be all that…hot. “I’ve been ugly my whole life. If I can be sexy for a year, I’m taking it,” he told People Country about the honor.
